Connie Howard Angel , 69, of Amanda, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at home. Born on February 11, 1944 in Ironton, she was a daughter of the late Landon and Alka Thompson Howard and was a former cook at Shawnee Lodge. Surviving are two sons, John Angel and Scott Angel, both of Sciotoville, two daughters, Donna Parker of Amanda and Sheila Castle of Wheelersburg, six brothers, Russell Howard of Georgia, Richard Howard of McDermott, Louie Howard of Georgia, Robert Howard of Minford, John Howard of Minford, and Larry Howard of Amanda, two sisters, Sue Howard of Tenn. and Betty McDaniel of Circleville, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Wadkins, two brothers, Rick Howard and Odis Howard, and a sister, Joyce Howard. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Stockdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE from Noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
