Clifford C. Lewis, 80, of Portsmouth, died Thursday, December 03, 2015, in the Southern Ohio Medical Center emergency room. Born on September 22, 1935 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Pete Lewis and Myrtie Queen, and was a retired millwright for Cyclops Steel Corp.
Cliff was an avid Buckeye fan. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and taking solo trips to different parts of the United States. He was proud of his children’s college careers. Above all in his life was the special love that he had for his six grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Rosalie Mullen Lewis, a son, Lloyd Randall Lewis of Lewis Center; two daughters, Denise (Trent) Hulbert of Chillicothe and Laura (Kevin) Driesbach of Circleville; and six very special grandchildren, Ryan Hulbert, Adam Hulbert, Paul Lewis, Scott Lewis, Joel Hammond and Allison Hammond.
A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Peter Michael officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
