Bus proudly served his country as an Army veteran during the Vietnam War, earning two Purple Hearts for his bravery. He furthered his education by graduating from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Bus dedicated many years of his career to the IT department at Centrus, from which he retired in 2014.

Stillwell and his wife Angel; his daughter, Beverly K. Stillwell; his sister, Charlene Ballinger and her husband Jeff; as well as his cherished grandchildren: Sam (Lauren) Gibson, Jacob (Emma) Stillwell, Gavin Stillwell, Aiden Hammond, Xavier Stillwell, and Jasmine Stillwell. Bus was a man who loved working with his hands and could often be found making a trip to Lowe’s for his latest project. He enjoyed spending time with friends, treating loved ones to lunch or dinner, and traveling with his wife, Sue.

Known for his ever-present smile and positive outlook, Bus faced life’s challenges with grace and good humor. His selfless spirit and generous heart touched all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and love. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held next summer, details to be shared on this obituary as they are finalized.
