Bette Cottle

September 20, 1928 — February 27, 2014

Bette Lou Cottle , 85, of Sciotoville, died Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Minford Retirement Center.  Born on September 20, 1928 in Scioto County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Chessie Brown Graham and was a member of First Church of Christ on Dogwood Ridge Road.  Bette was a graduate of East High School and former office manager for Orland Leadingham Studio.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Clay Cottle, her brother, Robert Graham, and a nephew, Jim Graham.

Surviving are a son, Jeffrey Clay (Linda) Cottle of Portsmouth, two granddaughters, Lacey (Jonathan) Robles and Lindsay (Thomas) McKinney, a great-grandson, Levi Robles, and a special niece, Lou Anne Ruggles.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Rev. Randy Wickham officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.  The family will receive friends at Brant’s from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Monday.  Memorial contributions may be made to Sierra’s Haven.
