Barry Hempill

Barry T. Hempill, 28, of Sciotoville, died Friday, December 11, 2020, in the Southern Ohio Medical Center emergency room. Born on April 16, 1992 in Columbus, he was a tennis instructor.

Tommy graduated in 2010 from Minford High School and enjoyed golfing, fishing and tennis.  He was especially proud of landing a job at the Ashland Tennis Center.

Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Lon Hempill and great-grandparents, Paul and Betty Suter and uncles Keith and Randy Hempill.

Surviving are his mother, Angela Carter of Westerville, his father, Barry Hempill of Pinehurst, NC; his brothers, Indigo, Sabian and Noah; grandparents Tom and Mardi Carter of Sciotoville and Beatrice Hempill of Sciotoville; and special friend, Ashley McCoy.

Tommy is also survived by uncles Brian Hempill and Ryan (Kelly) Carter and great-aunts and great-uncles Terry (Jane) Suter, Pam (Ed) Vanderpool, Steve (Judy) Suter and Kim (Charleigh) Schultz.

A service will be held at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE at the convenience of the family.
