Angel Born

Angel G. Born, 52, of Sciotoville, died Sunday, January 23, 2011, in the Southern Ohio Medical Center emergency room. Born on May 29, 1958 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of Gay Sowkulech Born of New Boston and the late William E. Born. Angel attended Glenwood High School and graduated from Elcajon High School in California with honors and was a member of Berean Baptist Church. Also surviving besides her mother, are two sons, Richard M. Bolda of Sciotoville and Levi Z. Odell of Ashland, KY, a daughter, Lindsay Odell of Sciotoville, a step-daughter, a brother, Bill Born of New Boston, and seven grandchildren. Preceding her also in death were grandparents, Goldie Sowkulech and John Sowkulech. A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Brant Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Rev. Paul Holbrook, officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Brant’s in Portsmouth.
